Some of the groups have a specific goal, but most are just members who want to share their current projects or perhaps get a bit of one-on-one time regarding quilting issues that could use a bit of assistance.
One of the most active groups in the guild isn't technically a small group, but please check out Warm Wrappings.

DEAR JANE

If you have ever admired the Dear Jane quilt, this is an opportunity for you to work on one. Overwhelmed by the prospect of 4 1/2" blocks? Electric Quilt has allowed Anita to print off patterns and templates for the block for up to 10 people who have the book. Currently we have four members. With Electric Quilt, the blocks can be made at any size. Two are making the original 4 1/2" block, and two are making 6" blocks. One is also considering using one of the more modern looking layouts presented by Electric Quilt.
